Message themselves over the years. I say this because Steve Millen is actually a really nice guy in person, and has a very interesting professional history. I met/interviewed with Steve 2 times before and during my history at Lockheed, and, although we weren't able to come to an agreement on an engineering position for me there, he went out of his way for me (and my gf who was with me at the time). He seemed genuinely interested in some ideas that I had (ceramic engine components and refractory coatings), gave us a 1-on-2 tour of his facility away from all the dopey salespersons around there, and even gave me some "goodies" to take home with me. I know Stillen is not THE company in products, and the reality is that they are more of a distributor than anything else (with some exceptions). With a lot of overpaid engineers and that slab of dirt in pricey Orange County, it is no wonder why they rape the everyday guy on pricing.

Just my unbiased two cents.
